Tried to buy this truck but ended up being a few hundred dollars away from what I needed it to be and what he thought it was worth. The guy seemed pretty upfront and honest about the condition and needs of the truck and indulged me when I asked him for a bunch of extra pictures.

If I can't close the deal maybe someone else here can.

Why don't you indulge us with some pics!:D (I failed to see any pics on the CL ads).

What color is it and what do you know about its history/condition? (Too lazy to ask the seller) :hillbilly:

Yeah, that might have been helpful....

I posted up about it here : https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/376373-looking-buy-cruiser-sight-unseen-need-advice.html

He's made it sound like a clean truck, PNW owned and maintained. Plus points per our conversation: No rust, great shape interior (headliner, seats, dash, carpets), new rad/belts/hoses, all mechanical features are in working order, runs like a top, etc.

Only things that gave me pause were: wear in the cargo area due to his dog, minor leak in front seal (no dripping), a squeal from his smog pump (he removed the belt instead of desmoging as PDX requires emissions inspections, he may fix in the future if he doesn't sell), and that the A/C needs a recharge.

I initially though about keeping it a secret as I didn't see any hits here about this particular truck, but I figure when the time is right I will come across the truck that was always supposed to be mine. I better contribute to the group if I expect you all to help me out in the future.

BM,

Thanks for posting the info and the other thread!

It does look pretty decent and I like the fact that it has not been painted over (body or the frame) which shows its/their true condition for us to see/decide.

It would be nice if it goes to a Mudder's home!

Thanks again!
