Anyone have anything like classic auto insurance for their 100 for an agreed value? Ours is a '99 and getting close to what our state considers an antique. Our typical car insurance won't do an Agreed Value.

I have an '85 CJ7 that I've set up with a Classic Car insurance for an Agreed Value but they say we drive the Cruiser too often for them to include it.

We have an impeccable driving record and claim history but they said it doesn't matter.

Seeing if anyone has any cheaper, unique insurance policies?

More mainstream companies are doing agreed value, but most still have additional requirements. Can't be a daily, must be garaged, mileage limits, etc...

Worth noting however that many insurance companies cover aftermarket parts with receipts and pictures.

I carry classic insurance from Grundy on my Supra, but it's not applicable to the LX (not garaged).

I'd consider adding comprehensive with a $2500 deductible or something and verify that they'll cover aftermarket parts. Shouldn't be too much $$.

Grundy also has a "VIP" program, or so they did a few years back. The main gotcha there was that you needed to have $75k+ in vehicles insured with them.

Finally two thoughts:

1. Insurance will give you what the car is worth in most cases. You may have to fight for it, but it seems common that insurance will put up a good value on 100's.
2. There aren't any freebies. If it's agreed value it's either going to have heavy restrictions or it's going to be $$$$.
