going to take some boys to the cinders by flag. going 31 sat of jan . will take pics of us on some tall hills :D

man, i love that place, didnt take the cruiser out there though. I put a paddle tire on my Yamaha WR426 4-stroke and tear up and down the bowls. One thing I noticed is its alot harder to climb when its wet then dry. It was raining last time I went and couldnt get the speed to climb out of a couple of the bowls. I think the one is called "hundred dollar hill" or something like that. Its a good time, make sure you take lots of pictures and post them up.

will post pics , got some paddles for the cruiser:eek: they are old well see if they hold up?

Howdy! Yup, fun place. Lots of hills and bowls to play in. Used to have open desert racing up there many years ago. There are some great speed runs on the northern side, up close to Sunset Crater Park border. Only bad part is that it is so abrasive. You can literally watch the corners grind right off of the tire lugs. John

I have seent he paddles he is going to run. He may not be right in the head. :flipoff2: But he sure welds pretty! :D

normally going to cinders is real fun but the forcast high is 47 :frown: if ther's some shade with snow ill get som pics of that:grinpimp: .. finally got the paddels to hold air . they have been in my attic for 10 years  it only took two 32 oz bottles of slime one for each tire:hillbilly::wrench:. we shall see if they hold. any way i think i remember the back way up most of the hills. not exactly driving a rocket ship:doh:well my lil brother will have fun

so we get up there put on paddles an go up jeep hill , in 2wd all the way to the top the traction was awsome!! then the tire blew:hillbilly: . i was hoping to get more than one hill climb out of it:doh:then it was on to other fun:hillbilly:

These are probably related, old tires don't preform well.:hillbilly: But pretty much any tire taken to the cinders is disposable!

Looks like fun!

hey i had my dodge 3/4 ton top of that hill if we want to go up ther this summer and check out the ice caves and the sunset crater nat park let me know it would be a cool drive for a summer day!!!!!!
