Tom, How about before Initial Creek Campground? Like near here (45.41821, -109.91165). That would make the drive shorter to the meetup place on SAT.

That could work! I didn't venture down that side area. There or 45.41729, -109.88108 would be suitable I think.

Fastest way is probably going via Columbus, then to Absarokee, Fishtail, then Nye.

Thats the way I'll be going Friday. Planning to leave BZN around 2pm. Likely camping at/near 45.4292, -109.9338 I'll be monitoring Ch 15 .
