I'm thinking of later in the week - 27th, 28th, 29t, 30th - somewhere in there. Flat Nasty is the only place that comes to mind but I'd certainly be up for suggestions.

I could also do Saturday the 15th or Sunday the 16th.

Anyone else?

I'm in.

Now that my exhaust is no longer connected only by the headers, I'm ready to go anywhere. You guys name the place and time.

I am going to fab up my exhaust "under the frame" slider/hump bump this week, so I can keep things in tact a little better. I've had the plate for almost a year now, I need to just go out to the barn and fab it up.
 
I'm starting a winter project to actually finish my plans for my truck but as long as I haven't taken it apart yet I'd go any of thos days.

If anyone has a decent set of 285/75r16 Mud tires with decent tread for sale I could take my 4Runner.
 
I know we haven't met yet but Vicky and I could do the 29th. We will be attending the meeting this Thursday and hope to meet you all.
 
A bunch of us Capital city Crawlers are going up to Hannibal for the New Years day run. It was a fun time last year and its not that far for a one day deal.
 
Well, anyone have a date preference? Any dates come from the meeting last Thursday? I'm leaning toward Sat the 29th.

p.s. Don't forget to check your valve cover bolts about every 160k, they have a tendency to loosen up once in a while. Now I have a real mess to clean up prior to the 29th.

Oil is cheap! I'm not sure if the 80's engine is the same as the 22re in the mini but the rubber bushings holding down the valve cover will dry rot and deteriorate over time and make it appear as though the valve cover bolts loosened up when in fact the bushing just got smaller. If this is the case I would replace the rubber bushings. If they're not the same then ignore all of this.

The 29th is alright by me. Not many people showed up at the meeting because of the weather. - 4wd club - go figure.
 
We've never been to Flat Nasty before and were wondering if you guys meet somewhere and caravan over there or just meet at Flat Nasty.
Either way is fine, but I'm always trying to plan things early. We may even get a room over there instead of the additional 3 1/2 hour drive home. If it's anyting like the toys for tots run at the Badlands I won't sleep a wink the night before and will be pretty burnt out after a full day of wheelin.

There are some decent cabins near the park. Otherwise the Holiday Inn Express in Salem is the closet newer hotel. Don't stay at the Walnut Inn! I tried it out thinking, "how bad could it be?" Ouch.

Last trip we met along 44 for breakfast and then headed down.

Sorry I've been off the board for so long - I've been swamped with work lately.

I'm definitely in for a run, and I think I'm free the 26th and I'm working on getting free the 29th.

Don't wait for me though, I'll just follow the thread and work with whatever. I'd be up for meeting for breakfast again though, same place - it was pretty good for me!
 
Saturday December 29th

Hen House in Bourbon @ 7:30 AM for breakfast (same place as last time)

We'll eat and then head out......should make it to FN by 10AM.

I'm having trouble finding a listing for Hen House. If someone has a phone number or address for there it would be helpfull, 7:30 breakfast sounds good to us.
