A mechanic mate of mine told me about a V8 auto 100 series that had been rolled and he had just serviced the car and ensured me the drive train was like new so I bought it and chopped it giving it a very spacious single cab Also, cut the chassis back a bit so it does not get caught up on the trail. The body was toast with the exception of the front cab. Eventually, I will add a roll cage, integrated roof rack, sidebars and front ARB style bumper. The welding was a bitch and nothing really fitted that well so quite a bit of plate work and stitching in multiple fiberglass layers. The back was fabricated from marine ply and fiberglass which has proved to be very strong in other cars I have customized. The rear window will have to be sealed shut to allow for the pro roll cage and bar work. The beauty of these jobs they are one-of-a-kind. the end vision is a very serious multiuse 4x4. So far I am $5000 in including the purchase and previous to the roll was fitted with new tyres and a suspension lift!

That’s awesome! Can you share more pictures of the underside? Curious to see how everything fit after the chop.
