Chinese Headlight Refresh???

I ran across these Chinese 2006+ style headlights at an irresistible price. Has anyone taken a chance on these? Really curious on the fit and finish.

Wow great price, and they look exactly like the Depos I run. You should buy and report the condition

My expectation for generic headlamps is for the plastic to cloud/fade in 1-2 years. For a little more, I'd go with the Depo brand. Made in Taiwan but have a history you can track.

Thanks for the advice. I was waiting for ranma21 to restock the Depos, but that price had me thinking.

I agree, and can attest to the Depo quality. That said, for someone into retrofits, I've wanted to crack mine open again many times and these cheapos are tempting for tinkering. On another note, I've been wondering about using clear, UV protecting film over plastic lenses, then replace as needed.

@yotasavg I did just that on my BMW the other day. Polished the headlamps and then applied clear wrap. Check back with me in 6 months! I also do wonder how the wrap will affect the headlamp performance.
