I am not sure if that would be cost effective. I think I would be better off going with the OEM pistons.

Dam... that sucks.... The best price I found on OEM pistons was 230usd without shipping.

That's not too bad I paid $35.50 a piece for my sealed power ones.

Well the machine shop told me a complete engine rebuild kit was just over 860 bucks. The cam kit (comp) was 300 of that... So I am going to send the cam and lifters out and save some money. I guess that would knock his price down to 560 bucks. I am trying to save money. The head was already done. I paid for it so the only thing left is the complete short block.

thats just for the rebuild kit. Oh and the head was done seperately... so the cost qoute above does not include the head as I already paid for it.
