Chevy 350 heater hose input and output: which one is what?

Hey everyone,

I'm wrapping up the install of a Flex-a-lite Mojave heater in my FJ40 and the directions specify an "input" and an "output" for the heater hose hookups. Which is the output and input on my Chevy 350?

Connect the exit of the heater to the water pump, connect the feed to the heater/heater control valve to the intake manifold.
