Whats going on guys, so I had a few questions in regards to exhaust modifications... so I was think one of the two options both being for the pure reason to hear the roar of the 4.7l v8. I was going to
1. remove stock muffler and replace it with a cherry bomb glass back with the stock resonator
OR
2. do a complete muffler delete and possibly re install the resonator if needed to reduce emissions
On the topic of emissions with either mod done would it be fine not to include the resonator as all It would do would cancel out the drone? I have been told without a muffler you can die due to emissions seeping into the cabin. or if the exhaust inst piped all the way back to the rear bumper and is dumping emissions right behind the rear axle you are putting yourself at the same risk. the only way for me to prevent this with out welding new pipe in either using a cherry bomb or muffler delete would be to re bolt on the resonator to shoot emissions out the rear again due to the fact without the muffler or a cherry bomb my fumes would be exiting right under the rear axle.
