Just picked this up from HF, used a 20% coupon and it was already on sale and the sales guy went ahead and let me use the coupon as well.

Not the best, but hard to pass up for the cost. This price includes 1 year factory warranty + 1 year replacement warranty from HF.

Now off to HomeDepot for some breakers, wiring and bumper/winch bolts.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I've never heard of that brand.... who makes their motors??

Brad that thing looks wholly inadequate for your needs. I'll come pick it up from you and save you the anguish. ;)

Very nice score!!!!!!!!!!!!

You may be right Joe, but I will have to deal with it until I can move onto some land, smaller house and 30x40 ish building to work in :)

Brad said the word should be spent not spending :)

True, True

Somebody is spending their bonus check :p

See note above, said while drinking Eric's booze!

Dang that thing is a beast!! Sounds like a stellar deal.

I hope it works out to be a good deal, did not really need one that big, but WTH, should be great fun :D

Not sure who makes the motors, from what I an read online so far, the pump is Italian and the rest USA.

Hi Greg - will do, just picked up some wiring and breakers yesterday, so need to get it wired up...will report more once I use it a few times.

I bought a similar US General compressor 2 weeks ago. Also used the 20% off coupon (googled it since I didn't get the email bulletins yet). Haven't used it hard yet (still plumbing the pvc to the regulator) but I did let it run for about an hour. It's actually pretty quiet. Did you get the extended warranty?

Work it and work it hard. Use it to sandblast some body parts. If it can hold up to that, it's a good one. If not, it will die after a hard day and you'll get to use that warranty. If you are lucky, the next one will work....if not, at the price you paid, you could actually afford to "upgrade" the parts that fail with higher quality stuff and still come out ahead.
