ill take it to the shop tomorw ...do you think its still safe to drive?

I bought a cheap code reader, but haven't used it yet, so we can give it a whirl if you like. Looks like more rain and I don't think we're going away for the long weekend, so call me.

You have a P0401 code. Replace the EGR modulator, clear the code, and it will go away for a short time, maybe a long time.
