CHeck engine light code P0133?A

All,
I did some searching on the forum and am coming up blank. I have had my check engine light come on twice in the past 6 months for a few days and then disappear. I had autozone pull a code and this is what they came up with.
P0133 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

Can anyone shed some light?

I would check you gas cap and make sure it is on tight. Sometime that code is thrown when the gas cap is not on tight or is leaking.

How long has it been since you replaced the o2 senor they only last 60k-100k miles

4runner has 160k miles on the v6, so I might suspect an O2 sensor.

I had the same problem. The light would come on for a day or two and then go back off. It would usually come on again after I was on the highway and then came to a stop.

Anyway, replaced my O2 sensor and now it's fine. Carquest's O2 sensors are Denso sensors in a Carquest box - so save your money and go there instead of the dealer if possible.
