No it was more like $150. Try ebay. Vantech Black J1000 (A285 50") Ladder Roof Rack (no acc) Universal Midsize Van | eBay You could probably spend more on accessories if you needed them. Try contacting them directly, they might work with you on a 3-bar order (which is really what I would be comfortable with if I were throwing on a RTT).

came to say a friend of mine made a sweet budget DIY roof rack for his old 60-series, was made out of a street-corner metal futon frame. Cut off the side rail and sleeved the tubes together before welding it up - lightweight and pretty strong, cost him only fabrication time.

I have one of these in my garage - I used it years ago, as intended, but have always thought I might take off the bumper hitch and lash it to my roof rack.
