I've been doing a lot of sitting on the couch since my surgery surfing the internet. I'm making a list of things I can do to the cruiser when I can walk again. Here is the beginning of the list and if anyone has more ideas let me know.

Dechroming
62 rear sway bar
62 back portion of rear seat with head rests
Upgrade dash lights
...........
Thanks -

Rear shoulder belts if not already done.
Sliders.
CB.
Mesh barrier for the back (I have the Milford cage but would much rather have the net barrier I have seen, much easier to manage for sure).
Dual battery for a fridge and other goodies on those expeditions.
Fridge.

Most are kind of spendy, but I was playing with your money :grinpimp:

You guys are soooo helpful.
I was kind of thinking about the T100/4Runner brake upgrade as well as the other "reasonable" ideas from my list above. Anybody have any experience with this brake upgrade?

Jerod
I've looked at the 3FE but what kind of power upgrade and mileage would you really gain? I like the idea that its a bolt in upgrade though.

Personally I'd only dive into that swap if there was something wrong with my engine... It bolts in, but there's plenty of odds and ends to tie up, and you might see 15% in the power/ mileage area? I haven't read much about it, but... you know.... your money and all... Lets do it! :D

Hey now a little OBA and power isn't to overboard :flipoff2:, the lift was merely suggested to work around the giant overhang on the rear of the 60 ;) j/k.

Dechrome for sure- I'll take the PS snake blinder!

CB, if you don't have one, maybe some brush cables w/springs from rack to bumper, U-bolt flip kit or bolt protector plate, Allen wrench diff plugs (It's amazing how long it can take to get a smacked bolt off), breather tubes out of the axles and up high, tuffy center console and some storage
compartments in the rear sidepanel- check out wagongear.com (?) aka kevin rowland here on 'mud. Some lugnuts/locknuts on the wheels, a truck-dedicated tool box and first aid kit, battery disconnect,
dual battery set andn isolator with a winch disconnect switch &/or HD circuit breaker and I think I'm forgetting something but that should do for now.
Hang in there dude..

Damn I wanted dids on the PS snake binder.

I have these that I'll probably never install - no bracketry for the sway bar though.

Joel,
What color is the seat? I need a brown and do you think I could get the brackets to make the sway bar work from SOR? Anyway nothing urgent as I can't really do anything for awhile but maybe we can hook up again if these items will work out.
Best regards - Jesse

I'm not sure if its the large amounts of pain meds or if you guys are messing with me but what the heck is a PS snake binder? Is it sort of like a madrone monkey on the Rogue river?

PS= Passenager side
Snake Binder= The crome strip under the doors.

What is a Rogue river Madrone Monkey

No such thing. Someone put a stuffed animal monkey in a madrone tree along the river south of grants pass that is commonly pointed out to out of towners while floating by. Usually includes a very detailed description of their fierceness etc.before spotting it in the tree. Cheap entertainment.
