G'Day Fella's,

Thanks for your kind comment (LOL!) 77TLCFJ40, much appreciated.

Sorry about that ALX4X4, but I've done no additional work on this roof rack.
I have given it some road tests, and everything seem to be as I hoped it would be.

Here are a few images of the Battle Cruiser, on the way down to, and in the Victorian high country.

Hello,

Looking good. A place for the bucket list, I guess.

Jindabyne, like that Australian drama movie from many moons ago? I remember it featured a mustard yellow HJ47.

Lookin' good :)

G'Day Fella's,

Yes Juanj, the same Jindabyne, as that movie.
But from where that photo was taken (near Tom Groggin), you have to cross over the main Dividing Range, from West to East at Dead Horse Gap. From there it is still probably 20 to 30 minute drive to Jindabyne and from where the photo was taken, it's probably an hours ish drive.

Thanks to you both for your kind comments.

G'Day Fella's,

It's been a while since I last posted, on this thread.
This same roof rack, has been on and off the Battle Cruiser a few times since then, and I just removed it again.
This was after I picked up an order of steel, from the local steel merchant.
This time I remembered to take a couple of images, of the load in place/on board.

I'm not sure how well it shows the off the load but there is 3x 8 meter lengths of 40x40mm, 2 x lengths of 25 x50mm and 2 lengths of 25x25mm RHS (all lengths cut in half), plus a 1200 x 2400mm sheet of steel mesh up there.

Sad to see smashed taillight can only surmise the rack was off for that!
This rack is one of the top works of art on this forum.

Thank You for you kind remarks Cruiserpilot.
Yes, the broken tail light, was from when the Battle Cruiser was side swiped.
Yet another Project ................ to add to the list.
