I'm never sure what everybody can do and what is a mod only function, but I believe if you go to edit post you can change the title if you were the origionator of the post or if you have super human mod powers.
nope, can't do it. The thread creator cann't change the title of his/her thread.
When doing a modify to the thread title only the little (per post) title gets changed. What's the deal?

Nope only a Mod can do that in their own bailiwick or a supermod/admin anywhere. I just tried myself with one of my threads I started in chat and it wouldn't take. Sorry Riley I guess just pm a mod like you did. HTH.
How about posting in right in the thread and then hit the "report post" button. Does that work or do alarm bells start ringing?
