I've read about (CLICK HERE sorry, only in german) disconnecting the leaves by using metal spacers (5mm thick, 12cm long with chamfered endings and same width as your leaf) in the center of the spring and Mercedes-Benz MB100 rear spring spacers made from playstic material/rubber at the end of each leaf.
More comfort without friction, but maybe you have to upgrade your shocks
