Just purchased my 13 GX 460. Looking for a center console cover and other accessories you’d recommend getting. Want to slowly mod it over time. Thank you!

As for interior accessories I'm a fan of on my 460...
  • Center console and glovebox organizers from Vehicle OCD and JDMCar have always been good
  • Dash cam is a necessity
  • MAXPider Kagu floor mats from 3DMatsUSA
  • LED interior and reverse lights, both very easy to do
Or did you mean modifications? That's a whole other can of worms

EDIT: I also have the OEM Lexus rubber cargo mat which is great because it has a removable section where the 3rd row folds, so if you want to use the 3rd row but retain a rubber cargo mat behind the seats it works perfectly. & a good phone mount is invaluable-- I did a DIY setup using the dashboard speaker shroud with some metal track and a RAM holder that was lying around

More interior for now. But this is all good. Want to go least costly first since I just purchased

I need a center console cover too before I get it and my seats reupholstered. Hopefully I can find one that breathes and has foam for comfort.

Here are some cheap and easy ideas/mods for your new GX:
  1. Here's a great center console tray. You'll need to use a heat gun to flex the sides inward just a wee bit, but it works great and better than the factory tray: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W3RWF63?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1
  2. For floor mat protection, go to my build thread to page 47, post #937: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/r2m-2013-gx-460-overland-build.1104719/page-47Have had these for over seven years and are still in great condition. You can keep your factory carpet mats on top of them also.
  3. One thing the GX's are sorely short on are USB ports. I added one to the rear of my center console for back seat passengers. I have it hard wired (with fuse) to the battery so I can still charge even when the car is off. You may want to add another USB port back there also. Again, go to my build thread to page 4, post #66.
  4. I also have this glove compartment box divider. It really helps keep it organized! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087FBQCLN?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_5&th=1

I put in one of the FitCamX dash cams. Front one takes like 5 minutes to install. Replaces the plastic shroud of the rear view mirror....getting the rear one ran is slightly more involved, but quite happy w it so far.

I don't think FitCamX has am model for pre '22. :(

Yep although one of these days I need to take that huge manual out of the glove box so that I can use the organizer.

I went with Garmin because I am heavily invested in Garmin, even the dogs wear Garmin GPS collars before I put them on the ground. And wear a Garmin Fenix besides carrying the Alpha. Dongar power adaptor made hooking the dashcam up a breeze.

Love my Kagu mats. Had Weathertech mats for 11 years in the Taco. Only had the GX for 2 years but they are a class act compared to the Weathertech mats.

Once again Yep! Likely went over board with Diode Dynamics but tired of the cheap Amazon ones burning out, at the worst time. For interior went with a compromise between hospital\lab bright white and the dull OEM. No regrets. Backup lights though went with DD XPR as bright as I could go, not too worried about blinding someone behind me in a parking lot and the extra light at night in the woods backing up is priceless.

Have the Lexus GX rear cargo mat but have a base platform with L tracks in the back so wanted a full tub for containment of spilled fluids and blood. So went with a Weathertech mat which is continuous containment. The Lexus mat is in the shed until I go to sell the GX someday. If it wasn't for the tie down requirements I have the Lexus OEM mat would still be in there.

I'd say you nailed everything perfectly, where was this back when I was looking?!
