So I installed me CDL switch this past weekend and yesterday and today it snowed so I have another chance to use it. THis morning I switched it on and the CDL light came on and the ABS light came on as usual. When I switched it off all the lights went off as they should. I hit it again when the roads were bad and then back off. This time the ABS light didnot turn off. This has happened a few times and it always seems to happen after the 2nd time I hit the CDL. Is this normal?

thanks

I believ there is a thred on this but from memory it depaend at what speed you disengage the switch. I think if diengaged over a certain speed the ABS remains disengaged, but as I am having a few wee problems with my tranfare box at yhe momment there are other far more knolagablr poeple who will advise you.

Goldfinger is correct. There is a threshold speed, that I do not remember at the moment, that if exceeded the ABS will not come back on-line until the ignition is cycled. I think it's around 40mph or so.
