I 've installed a cb antenna on my front bumper, since for now its about the only place that makes sense. Where is good place to route the cable through the firewall... it has the rather large connectors for the cb / already mounted on the cable at both ends.

Appreciate any suggestions..

If you have the skills or willingness & time to acquire the skills, I'd recommend you remove the connector on the radio end to run the cable - it will be MUCH easier. Then just re-attach the connector once you have the skills (soldering iron is all that is needed).

As for location, I'm not familiar with the FJ60 but I'm guessing there is a rubber-covered hole on the PS where the steering column would be in a euro-spec 60. I went through that location on my 80 with 10-gauge power and three coax runs (CB, HF, and UHF/VHF). Plenty of room and worked very well.

Good luck!

yes... I've watched a couple of good videos about installing the connector and later on if I don't change antenna locations, I'll just cut off the factory connector....route the cable and install a new one
