I was installing a backup camera in my 2007 GX last night, and I discovered that the padding under the cargo area on the middle to right side was damp. Some bolts under there had rusted heads. The outer edge seemed dry, and the left hand side seemed entirely dry. There was a tiny bit of standing water in one of the drain plugs in the front center of the cargo area. Any ideas where this moisture came from? It hasn't really rained in the past few days, and I have had a musty smell in the car since I bought it.

Edit* - It ended up being the rear quarter window belt molding. The push-in tabs and their holes were dripping on top of the subwoofer box. I know it is a bit lame, but until I replace them I think I will let it dry then hit it with silicone sealant and see how that works out.

Sunroof drain hose runs right behind the subwoofer, maybe it's clogged or cracked.

hmm, maybe ill put a hose up on the sunroof and see what happens. I see the drain tube it looks clean and clear, but it could still be cracked. I also see the read

Edit* Ran water on sunroof, and no apparent leaks. Water is flowing out of the outlet behind the rear wheel. Maybe i will try to blast the rear AC and see if anything happens. I can also run water over the rear door and windows and see what is up.

Also make sure no bolts are missing in the floor, there are two under the carpet that hold each wall to the floor, I believe a hole down to the ground exists in their absence.

Check the rear pop out rear windows. Leaks are common.
