Got in a bind today- needed a 2F (Aisin) idle solenoid, today- I called Skinner's on Aspen NW- they had a used one I spliced into the old terminal and leads and it idled fine- $10. Knew it would work; it was from a minitruck.
They work on fuel injection, too- had a well- equipped clean shop-
had a bad experience years ago- w/ another local carb. shop on 4Th- owner a jerk and my carb had a leaky secondary vacuum port, sucking air/ dirt and the secondaries would not open-
Greg Wolfe helped me figure it out- we found dust and dirt that'd been sucked past a gasket that was forgotten when it was time to torque it.
