I was lucky enough to find that when I opened up my carburetor for a rebuild that the lower half of the power valve was missing. Even more lucky to find that the two parts of the lower half of the power valve are not in the rebuild kit. Question is, are the pieces necessary? (The long skinny rod looking thing and cap looking thing on the left)

I am under the impression that it will run rich if I leave them out, not allowing the power vavle to shut off? I hate the idea of ordering two more parts from SOR and waiting yet another week for this carb to be finished....Thanks in adavance, Matt

I spoke incorrectly....I am only missing the part on the far left of the photo, nothing else.

The piece on the far left is the power jet. It can be run without it. It will be stinky rich at WOT, but will be OK for put-putting around. Order the power jet from your local TOyota dealer. They may tell you the 1.10mm for your carb is discontinued. In that case, take the largest size they can get you. It's not real critical on your carb.

Thanks for the reply!!! I really appreciate it, Matt
