how do you get inspection window out of carb to replace o-ring? Mine is leaking and would like to not pull carb apart! It runs great just this leak is all that is wrong.

Thanks, Mike

The later F and 2F carbs have windows held on by a couple of JIS screws, from the outside. I don't remember prying mine out from the outside, but rather pushing it from inside the float bowl with the air horn off. What year of carb?

*WARNING* Do not over tighten screws on a glass sight window or the glass might break. I know a guy who did that once:)

Like Dizzy said, just remove screws and cover plate. You can then carefully use something to pry it a little. Obviously be very careful if it's glass, not to chip the edge. The older 71ish sight windows are some sort of plastic.
