Anybody know of a mod for buckling a car seat to the fram like later model vehicles? I looked through the site with the search function and couldn't find anything. I can't think of anything besides mounting clips to the floor boards or something similar...

there was a thread on the 80's board about this with helpful pics, it involved the use of carabiners hooked to the seat belt mounting tabs under the seat

Got the idea from Mark Brodis' thread (nice job). Except I used "screw pin anchor shackles" made by Campbell (Cooper tools) from Home Depot. They are identical to the usual shackle but smaller. 2 sizes - 3/8" or 9mm, and 5/16" - 8mm. The smaller (part #B5960535) work better with my child seat hooks. It is rated to 1500 lbs. I hook them through the seat belt material itself (where it hooks to the buckle and at the base of the outside shoulder straps).
