I'm looking into a car port for my 2022 GX460.
Size would be 7ft High 12ft wide and 20ft long.
Question is 7ft height should be more than enough in height as I believe 6ft would be to low on the corners?

What are your thoughts?
Pictures would be sweet too!

Thank you

Just depends if you plan on lifting it or putting a rack/RTT on it..

If you're not inclined to haul stuff on top such as kayaks or gear that should be OK. Also might get a bit tight to jack up the vehicle for changing a tire, etc.
As a tall person I would find 7 ft. ceiling too low, a bit claustrophobic!

Same. I am 6'5" i would want at least 96".

Depending on weather you may want more overhang. I know someplaces it can hail diagonally.

If I remember correctly, my build is 7'-4" as it sits: Builds - R²M 2013 GX 460 Overland Build - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/r-m-2013-gx-460-overland-build.1104719/
with 3" suspension lift, 34" tires and iKamper RTT.
To be sure of the height, I need to check the sun visor. I keep a card with the overall height of my rig up in the sun visor in case I ever come to a parking garage or ??, I can just flip the visor down to remind me what it is to ensure that I'll make it a parking garage, bridge or whatever.

Update: Well what do you think?
Yea shes spoiled alittle......

Ha-ha! IF she was truly spoiled, she'd be in an environmentally, heated and dehumidified, controlled garage with waxed vinyl flooring, steering wheels and posters of old GX's hanging on the walls! And maybe (if the wife allows, are you married?) one or two posters of tool girls.

Where did you source? Rough cost?

I need one for my boat.
Then Carolina car ports takes over and it was 3k installed 3 hours in the rain.
I went with the heavy gauge sheet and framing.
Installers were walking on it in the rain!
