For a car with every bell and whistle I'm surprised at the lack of power ports. Nothing for back seat passengers and no 12v in the rear for a refrigerator.

Can anyone share their solutions regarding installation of additional ports, locations, mounts, wiring and component recommendations?

Thanks for your reply. I'll study your build, looks fantastic.
Here's mine...

I ran a blue seas 3- port to the trunk area. 12v, USB & Voltmeter. Wired to the battery. And mounted it on the little plastic door on the bottom left in the trunk where the tire jack is. I’ll try and snap a photo when I’m home.

You can power the 12V port via fuse tap off the interior fuse panel. If you put a fuse tap in one of the power seat fuses, they are always powered (even with the key off) and will allow you to charge devices when the GX battery is turned off. You'll 100% need to have this as a fused connection to avoid burning the rig down if you have a short. The fuse tap will accomplish that by adding a fuse at the source and retaining a fuse on the power seat circuit. You'll need to select the wiring for the panel and the fuse size based on the expected amp draw - mine (which just charges small devices) is 16 ga with a 5 amp fuse. A fridge may require larger wire and a larger fuse, especially considering that the wire run will be at least 10-12 feet from the panel to the back of the rig.

I concur with using a 3-port panel as well in the cargo area, but one of the ports should be a on/off switch. You can usually grab one on Amazon for <$20. I have that setup and keep the switch off when I'm not using it. I'm not sure about a 460, but on my 470 it was super easy to pull off the door sill trim and hide the wires completely between the passenger compartment fuse panel and the rear of the GX.
