So, for the more seasoned among us, too early to worry about the forecast this weekend? :)

Well, the ferry is officially not running Friday. @SeanLX called earlier. That means @xychromosome and @Hokie LX are out unless they want to / can find other ferry times.

My plan is to call them tomorrow and see what they say. I'll also see if I can find a contact at the cabins to call and see what they say.

Also, Nicole is officially a tropical storm now. Word is, might be upgraded to hurricane by the end of the day.

Ugh, too bad. I'll wait on the news tomorrow before calling it. Looks like Saturday and Sunday won't be too bad, although don't know if they will run extra ferries on Saturday if there is demand?

Not sure. You'd have to call and see.

Just called the cape lookout ferry and they don't know for sure if they will cancel Friday ferries or not. Should know later today or early tomorrow. They did say that at this stage they have plenty of openings for their Saturday ferry, starting at 8am, so that may be a back up option.

You know, I just realized you said in your earlier post you booked through Davis shore ferry, not calo, correct? The rest of us booked through calo, that's what my closure statement was for.

BTW, how many trucks and people are you bringing in total?

Booked this ferry, this is the CALO ferry? This is the one I called earlier today.

As for people/trucks, depends on whether we can head over Friday or not. If we can, there will be 3 trucks and 4 people (2 of which are members). If not, may only be 2 people and 2 trucks coming over Saturday.

It is. You said davis shore in an earlier post, which is a different ferry service.

Who are the ONSC members that are coming with you?

Sorry, got them mixed up.

@neslrac, @UZJ105 and I are locked in. @Hokie LX and @SeanLX are still maybes. I'll be there for the 2pm ferry tomorrow.

Weather looking better for Friday and good for Saturday and Sunday. Called the ferry again and they said they still weren’t sure on their schedule for Thursday and Friday. I’m still keen to head over on Friday, if the ferry is still running

Ferry is running Friday, will be on the 11:30am
