I wish I didn't have to post this because it this should be so simple. I am trying to pull my center console and did the cup holder pull with good success. The problem is I cannot get any of the three switches unplugged. I have pulled on every part with no success and tried pliers.

I even recruited my wife after making her read the FAQ. She said just give it a tug. She tried like me and nothing. The damn things will not come out. Is there something I can spray to loosen things up? Are there tabs to press in I'm not seeing? I am pulling mainly from the bottom piece of plastic where the wires are connected. Perhaps the bigger piece is what I should be pulling.

:bang:

I've not done those (yet) but every Toyota connection I've taken apart has had a latch and couldn't just be pulled apart. Somewhere there will be a little tab or lever that has to be squeezed while pulling.

I'm a visual person, so I took pictures of the plugs and labeled three zones where I could potentially pull. i believe it is point 3 based on the FAQ language, but I can't budge it even though I'm pulling hard. I'm afraid I'm going to crack this 13 yr plastic. Can someone verify?

Ok, after posting pics I starting playing around more. If you push up on the switch it will come up through the top. Then you can pull it and see the whole assembly. That is when you'll see the push tab. Here are pics for those visual learners.

Do the power and second gear start since your there. Mine were full of hair and spilled liquid goo. work much better now.

I made sure everything was clean before putting back in with new ebony zebra wood trim and the old Sirius head is out. I found several business cards and nail file under there too.
