Anyone have a source for one or two? This is the one that has a lip on it that goes in the bottom of the canister oil filter from the outside, sits in a metal lipped washer and then the center shaft slides through it.

Mike, IIRC, all the seals you would need come with the factory oil filters when you buy them from Toyota. I think maybe you got some aftermarket filters, eh?

Even that one seems to have the seals with it.
Might be a long shot, Mike, but my '67 Chevy Impala w/a 283 V8 had a canister filter too. Maybe check the Chevy restoration suppliers for the same seal for the old school canister filters???

I think Mike is looking for the packing that installs from the bottom of the filter can.....not normally serviced and not included with the filter.....letter V here.

I have 4 Toyota filter kits and they come with every gasket/seal except this one. None of them have it with the seal kit

Hmm. I see which one you mean. And I have just reused the one that came with mine. SOR will sell you a used canister with one in it for $32.
