Canadian Group Trailer buy Back On !!!!

I don't need to hear about all there troubles up in canada. As far as shipping to Phoenix it is also not our problem, they should have figured it all out before the offer. I am not giving out excuses. I paid up sight unseen with the clear understanding that Phoenix is the drop off location. If the seller wants more money for the delivery to phoenix they will have to get it somewhere else. A deal is a deal especially when it is pre-paid. Having to chase after trailers in San Diego is laughable. If the seller would have included us in on more of the details we might have been able to help out.

I feel the seller should put up the 35.00, find there own drop off point, and send the trailers to Phoenix. Do they not have phones in Canada?

Koffer-- any news on your trailers?

Jared

I have not heard much about what is going on and its comming down to the wire for me as Im going to Japan on the 22 and wont be back till the 13th .

The last email I got was they were to hit the road on the 15th but I have heard nothing else .
If I dont hear anything by Monday afternoon I will start getting pissed . If I have to, I'll drive up there on Monday night and they will not be too happy seeing me . a 6'3" dude pushing over 300# with a attitude . Im not in the mood of being jerked around before I go away .
If needed I will post the phone # after Monday

I just got this a few minutes ago

"HI Todd

They were supposed to be picked up today but I am out of town on my laptop and they had closed before I could find out if they were picked up so if they have not been picked up they will be Monday and they will be there in NJ next week for sure anyway. NJ isn’t that far so it’s a couple days only.I may know on Sunday and will let you know if I know Sunday for sure.

Thanks Todd,

Michele"
Im hoping so as I only have till wedsday morning

Koffer, If you need help from someone being around, shoot me a ring. Days are now tough, but I can swing something if you need a hand with anything.

As expressed earlier to Jared and others, I advocate paying the additional $35 to have the trailers received in Phoenix by a commercial facility. This only represents about 4% of the purchase amount and about half of what it will cost in sales taxes (hint). I realize that shipping was included in the auction and a "deal is a deal" but with a transaction of this complexity it's reasonable and understandable to at least me that unexpected costs arise. Based on my experience in the previous group purchase effort the most difficult part was in trying to find inexpensive shipping and distribution. I believe even with the added cost Michele has accomplished that.

This is not the way to do business. If this had been discussed before payment had been made it would sting but we could swallow it. Try and remember the first deal was $850.00 us trailers delivered to who knows where... Second deal was "new trailers" for $995.00 delivered ( once again to "who knows where") The third and last agreement was "great used trailers" for $850.00 delivered to Phoenix, location to be announced. The sellers even posted a new ebay auction directly stating that the trailers for auction where to be delivered to Phoenix with a price of $850.00.

Lets face it this is a business transaction that has all ready been paid for. If there are added cost, these cost unfortunately are now created and owned by the sellers not the buyers.

I repeat this is not the way you do business. The sellers will have to swallow the 35.00 and deliver the trailers as promised and stated in the original email and paypal receipt.

...not to sound like an a$$...or terribly negative...
but I really hope this trailer thing works out for you guys.

I've been watching this from the beginning and it seems like you guys have been getting yanked by this company from the very start.

What a crappy way to run a business
Best wishes and good luck.

Hi Pasquale,
Thanks for the much needed help, the shipment to NJ is separate, the
shipment to San Diego is the same, there are 22 coming to Phoenix
San diego was an option but Phoenix is the place we need to get a dock.
Anything you can do to help?

False advertising and not delivering as promised is illegal business practices

Pasquale had said earlier in this thread that this whole deal was laughable. I now agree. I hope for all of you that this deal goes down in Phoenix at no additional cost to you. I also hope that IF it doesn't, you seek proper retribution. I had hoped that I might be able to lend a hand with an unloding place for the trailers but unfortunately I cannot. Good luck to all of you. Please keep us informed.

Yikes, I need to get a pintle hook!

A fellow club member of mine who is in on this group buy posted a msg to our club's website asking if anyone had a loading dock we could use. A couple of people volunteered thier locations. I believe this El Mirage spot is one of those guys. Very cool of him! If this is one of those volunteered docks, would anyone be interested in chipping in $5 or $10 to get him a gift certificate to Home Depot or 4Wheelers Supply?

The place where the trailers are being dropped off is indeed the guy who volunteered his location.

He doesnt know any of us, not even the person who's plea he responded to. We definately should do something for him to show our thanks.

Good to hear that this thing seems to be working itself out.
