also when I try to pay with paypal , I keep hitting pay now and it just goes to a how to pay screen. and I do have my account set up and verified BTW

How are you accessing Paypal? Are you following a link from an ebay generated email or webpage? Or are you just going directly through Paypal's website?

what kind of receipt did you guys get anyhow?

The only receipt I got is one from Paypal.

Also, the seller sent a list the other night with a number associated with each seller and their trailer.

What is your name so I can see if you are on the list?

We will pick ours up today. Jared will be home around 1:00 then we will probably drive out there. It should take us about 45min to an hour to get there. Maybe longer if we stop for lunch in downtown phx. Great food! Anybody had Rito's, just off of 16th street and Roosevelt. Best green chili burro enchlidada style in town! I think they close for two weeks durring the hoiday so we might try someplace else.

Anyways, we should be there around 2-3:00.

Thanks lars ,I needed to go off the email :whoops:

I now have an ebay and pay pal receipt.

since i just won i doubt i will be on the list but my ebay id is markb3632

my impression is that they loaded at least 1 extra trailer ...yay!

Im leaving to go to work but I will do a drive by recon on my way (1;30ish)

Is pat going to call when they arrive?

Maybe ill just stop and talk to him and leave him my cell #???

The list is using first names

Quote from the sellers email:

To complicate things the truck picked up only 20 instead of 22 so the extra 2 I would have had sold are not because they got left behind and since they are knee deep in snow not plowed since the load was picked up, no one can go and tell me which two were left behind therefore I will only know which two were left behind when they come off the truck at pat’s Wednesday.

At that time if your trailer happens to be the one left out your number could become 0035 or 0003 I have 2 others that are numbered 0111 and 0112 for which one is sold on ebay ending Tuesday night and one other is supposed to be sold have about three people in line for the last one so not sure the name that will be sold to. So basically I had 4 of mine left over undesignated two got left behind and two are sold but the names I do not know yet.

It is possible that they left behind my two trailers and then everything will be fine. Otherwise I hope you all understand the situation, any questions please email me.

First impressions..... Pat is a hell of a guy for allowing us his location as a dropoff (and he kept my wife company for a bit while I wrenched). He has gone above and beyond.

First impressions of the trailers.....

I'm happy with mine. Nothing unexpected. They will need some minor going through. Replacing rusty nuts and bolts mostly.

They are as described in the Ebay ad.... Used but in good condition. I know Jared and Sean were having trouble with one of theirs. The brake appeared to be seized in one wheel and also 2 bolts had been sheared off in the hitch frame.

I was the second person to arrive. Steve (trailer) was already there and he had his pretty much together. It's not an easy one-man job to put these things together. Steve looked like he had been having a rough go at it for a while. Mine went together quite easy. Usually I have the worst luck with this type of stuff so for a change everything went smooth for me.

I only bolted on the hitch frame. I left the fenders off and a few other goodies that I have no idea what they are. Whatever I needed to do to get the trailer on the road was what I did at Pats. The rest I will do in the comfort of my own garage.

Tools used...

Lug wrench
1/2" socket
9/16" socket
9/16" wrench
Long punch

The safety chains on my trailer did not work with the hitch on my 4runner. The chains have a small hook on the end. If you are travelling far and have any kind of towing hardware (chains, clevises, hooks) at home I would bring it just in case.

Anyone else out there want to pitch in a little something for Pat?

So far it is ..

No need for air....... Pat has plenty of compressed air available.

I'm not sure how to work the donation. We can use my paypal account if no one else wants to voluneteer.

One other thing, bring some string or a bungie cord to tie up the wiring under the trailer or else it will be dragging the ground.

I will call him tomorrow and ask if he has a Paypal account. Or better yet, I will call his office and see if I can talk to someone else. Maybe they can give us a hint at what likes or is interested in. Judging by his facilities, I doubt that Pat is hurting for money. I think that the 50 or so dollars sent in a Paypal account will mean far less than something more personal like a gift card to some favorite place of his.

One more thing... bring some WD40 or PB Blaster. The bolts are rusty as hell and all are fine threaded and not the easiest to start.
