Can threads be made private...

Is it possible to make a thread on the Club forums private to a pre-selected list of users?

not with threads.....there is an option for making entire sections into group member-only....could add a sub-forum like that for your BOD.

How is the membership controlled? By me as Mod? If someone wants to post in the sub-forum, do I have to grant access each time they want to go there or do they get access after being verified by the system as a member of the group?

Ok, I looked at Copper State Cruisers forum and didn't see a sub-forum although I can see the Group Membership choice in my UserCP. Does that mean the sub-forum is hidden to non group members?

exactlee.....individuals who want access must get approval thru the "manager" (you, in this case). "anyone" can ask for access, you can accept/deny.....and you can "boot" when you no longer want someone in.

once the initial group is setup, it's basically like any other section.
