Looks like my thor!
I bought this Thor winch about 18 years ago and it has been sitting in my shop. It looks like the first picture. Jeff said it looks liking a Viking-did they make a some more models of the same winch? I have 8k warn winches on my 79 Ford F-150 I bought new. Here are some pictures of my Thor winch.
