Thought I would add my 2 cents. I tow a 24 foot Supra with a dry weight of well over 4000lbs. By the time it is loaded with gas, gear & people it is very close to the 6500lb limit. I have taken several 4 or 5 hour trips with no problems. I can average right at 70 mph without the gear shifting back & forth. Average mpg= 11 (being conservative in my driving habits)
