Camping Labor Day Weekend (1 Viewer)

We are going camping Labor Day Weekend (Friday evening through Monday morning). While we haven't finalized campsite reservations, we are looking at either Melvern Lake, Pamona Lake, Clinton Lake, or Lake Perry. We'll have something finalized shortly and post it up here.

If anyone's interested in a weekend, non-wheeling getaway, feel free to join us! We are bringing the popup and have a small grill and 3 burner stove for cooking.

I'll post up our reservation details shortly. Just wanted to get this into the public domain ASAP.

Our biggest hurdle will be to get multiple sites within close proximity of each other. Shannon and I have even discussed heading to Fancy Creek at Tuttle since we know very few people use that campground.

We're a definate maybe...... would need an RV hook up. I don't camp without AC anymore. If you go to Fancy Creek would/could that be a wheeling trip?????

Shannon and I were just discussing this and have decided to head up to Fancy Creek campground at Tuttle. My sister and BIL may come down. He has a 40 but I'm guessing her horses will win out and there are horse trails there.

I'm not sure if it'll be a wheeling trip for us as we'd end up needing to bring both the van/camper and the 40. Not a problem tho - we are intent on camping and would enjoy everyone's company.

We may end up at the Randolph side but I don't recall that area having any RV hookups. Anyone know?

We would love to join you, but must go to Arkansas that week-end. Mike's mom recently moved back down there and we need to get some stuff done for her. Maybe there will be a next time.

Found out last night my grand parents will be in town that weekend. Deb & I are really wanting to get away for a week but it doesn't look good us make it this weekend.
