Guess the road is still open and there is decent place to camp without crossing. Trav was out there few weeks ago.

How kid friendly is the campground? Is there room to ride bikes? I'm assuming there is a stream nearby (I haven't downloaded google earth yet so I can't see the map). I'd say we are tentatively in at the moment.

Rocky by water. Campsite is mostly sand and dirt last time I was there.

terrain is mcgrew like, the swimming hole is beautiful.

Is it 4x only to the camp site or can a little car with 3" of clearance make it?

No cars although the locals don't seem to have a problem with getting them down there. Very rutted and rocky terrain at times, nothing requiring 4X4 just more clearance.

I'll have to park a van at that little parking spot and put any extra kids up on the roof rack.

That place looks sweet! I'd say our odds of going are: 73% gonna go, 29% not gonna go, and 11% undecided. (I was never very good at math...thats why I married an accountant, she complements me nicely. )

I'm assuming no bathrooms there?? What are the rules on camp fires?? It's gonna be difficult to roast my little smokey if there are no fires...I'm just sayin.
