Bought this 3 Years ago.
Wasn't looking for one but thought it would make a great base for a Camper.
This Van was imported by Australian Customs. It's purpose was to drive up and down the Docks X-Raying Sea Containers. It has been converted to RHD. It has a 350 LO5 Engine, 4L80E and Dana 80 Diff. It runs on LPG ( 2 X 90L Tanks) and Petrol (90 L). It also had Awnings ( Omnistor/Thule 2000 ) fitted on both sides.
I've put a false Floor in, Rear and Side Drawer System , custom Roof Rack, Front Bar ( 'A-Team' design;)), Cruise Control, Dual Battery System, Solar power system, Custom Awning Rooms, Reverse Cameras , Custom Wheel Carrier, Custom Headers / 3 inch Exhaust Pipe , Internal and External Lighting System.
Just completed its 'first field' test trip over the last Week.
Fuel economy not as good as I would have hoped but Weather was ugly and the 'flying bread loaf' isn't as aerodynamic as it use to be with the Rack and Ladder addition.
Planning to drive to Tassie late September then a top end, 3 Month trip next Year.

I love vans! No, mileage isn't the best but they are the best compromise for sleeping inside and keeping it simple.
Nice rig, my dad sold his identical van ( in Canada ) after many trips all over N America!
