I've been running down part numbers for a future timing belt job as well as serpentine belt etc. It's a royal PIA, even with all the lists that are already here as numbers change and different years introduce subtle changes. This is for a 2004 so non-vvti. I've been running across two different part numbers in particular for cam seals:

90311-71002
90311-38065

It seems that 38065 is the one for me according to partsouq when I enter my vin. Is the 71002 for vvti? The pictures that come up on certain sites show them to be very different. Which one comes with the Aisin timing belt kits?

All the posts I found here reference one or the other but never both and it does not seem consistent with pre vvti vs vvti so looking to clarify for myself and posterity.

Similar story with the actual timing belt. Are the timing belts different for vvti vs non vvti? Which do you get with the Aisin timing belt kit?

Any insight would be appreciated. Cheers!

Thanks for the reply @cruiseroutfit . I ordered some lower ball joints from you guys last year and will be getting the uppers here soon.

On the timing belt kit, can you break down the actual part numbers that one would receive in the kit? Are the cam seals Aisin, Toyota or?

Your website lists the parts but not the part numbers individually. I realize this would be a PIA for the large inventory you have but it would be helpful to detail oriented people like myself:) Not to mention it would probably bring up your site when people search via part number?

Adding part numbers may be something we do in the future. At current that kit sells extremely well and we have approx 4000 in-stock parts to get on CruiserTeq.com so it will be sometime before we have the bandwidth and to be fair, a reason, to add individual part numbers. We sell thousands and thousands of different in-house and manufacture assembled "kits" each year, it's my experience customers buy the kits because they don't want to have to care about the individual part numbers :D
