Hey. Received my lift. In good speed. Thank you.

I fully understand all of the directions for the lift MINUS this:

I keep hearing folks talk about indexing the T bars BUT the T bars that came with the package DO NOT have a "master spline" so any "alignment" to the control arms seems impossible. The quotes are essentially from the OME directions.

As well, it is not clear as to what they mean by installing the adjusting arm so that the adjusting bolt is "just" through the adjusting arm "you will be able to rotate the T Bars one spline at a time" to accomplish this. WTF???

I have 000000 shops that will install this lift so it is up to me (fine with me) but the directions/insight provided by OME is sometime lass than vague.

Thanks.

You are taking tons of pictures for your FAQ write up, right? Wish I could help but the IFS system is still a mystery to me.

Do you have the FSM, which shows the steps for removing and installing torsion bars, or replacing them with new ones?

Hank:

I do but I did not see anything relating to the words written in the OME instruction booklet. Maybe I am making it out to be more complicated but I do not think so. There is definitely a vagueness in that needs to cleared up prior to starting anything.

I just got a quote from a shop of 250.00 to do the install. Man, that sounds appealing. But I do not want to let down the group. Bitch of it is that I had a part fail on my 40 so I do not have a second vehicle when this is off the ground and/or if I run into issues.

Where you at Slee?

Thanks.

I hear ya cala. I probably will.

OK Gents, I am on board. Talked with slee and between his comments and the FSM, I am good to go. Saturday will be the day. Should have a tech article prepped for e9999 by Monday (that's my goal). Hell yeah my buds!!!!!!!
