I saw a post a few weeks ago about some 80 owners getting together in Portland Oregon. I was not able to make it but would like to set up another time to meet and maybe hit some trails. Let me know if any body is interested.

Should have been there, was a good time!! We had a few drinks and bullsh@#ed about 80's. Would have loved to see another lifted 80 there besides mine, however I must admit the reaction I got from mine was sweeeeeet!! I'm definatly in for a wheeling trip, just give me a heads up. I live in Vancouver, PM me. Brad are you out there??

I'm here...

I'd probably be up for a mild trip. I just had to add up the receipts for the racecar to give to my tax guy. $18,025.43 in 8 monthes!

After I changed my soiled shorts, I made a couple decisions, to enable me to get out of this here job, and do something else. MOD spending has gotta go down. Plus, I'm gonna sell the TT. I've got about 53k in that and will be lucky to get 30 out or it. That'll pay for the missgivings on the racecar.

So, for now... no mods on the 80. Might have to ride with you. I call shotgun!!!!

*Note* The "beer budget" will not be effected by my new financial strategy, so I'm ALWAYS up for a brew run.

Bus, I know the feeling. I was notified yesterday that the contractor who poured my driveway and patio filed chapter 7. Bad for him as he was a good guy, until I discovered that he had not paid his suppliers, etc for any of the work and they are looking for me to pay around $10K or lien my house (I already paid the contractor in full). I'd be up for learning how to drive my 80 (stock) in the dirt.

The only good news is after almost a 3yr search I got the correct top for my 280sl.

How much of the day does this take? How difficult are the trails for a stocker that will need new boots in 5-10k? And a newbie behind the wheel at this point willing to bang it up (I know I'm a pansy) but it is my DD.

Where is Rogers camp?

Other priority this weekend is sell my J@@p.

Painting a car Sat/Sun. With a bit more lead time, might be able to make the next one. Have a blast!

there will be a group for stock vehicles so you should be OK. Not sure how long it will take to finish the trails?? My rig is my daily driver too and not only that it is my wifes!!

Wish I could go-gotta work Sat :{ I would love to go beat on the rig on some muddy trails!! Anyone want to go next week end? I would be up for that trip!! You guys have fun and enjoy your rigs! My impressed the sh%^ out of me stock, it was what inspired me to lift it, I wanted more!!

Take HWY 26 west toward Forest Grove from Portland. In forest grove take hwy 6 toward Tillamook. I think it is about 15 or so miles from Forest Grove you will see a sing for Brown Camp. It will be a dirt road on top of the mtn. Follow signs to Browns Camp. Be ther about 9 am. Hope to see yo there.
