I ordered caliper bolts for my 4Runner caliper upgrade and they sent me a bunch of really stubby metric bolts and washers? Not only are they fat, they are short! My thought was to replace the 4 bolts a side since they will be doing all the work. Replace hardlines, bleeder screws and caps, etc.

What caliper do these things go to?

Trail-Gear Inc > Brakes

the ones I see on their site look correct to me.

How stubby are the ones you got?

receipt says 31mm, and I held them up to the 94 caliper and they wouldn't make it even halfway through them. They are about 15mm short of the opposite half of the caliper.

What calipers do they think these fit? I don't see them fitting my 90 FJ62 calipers either........

I need a metric tapemeasure........

Hey Vic so these bolt the caliper body on and are not the actual bolts that run through the caliper to hold them together.....ok I see now. That's embarassing.

If it helps I am cooking a buttload of ribs right now. Very distracting.

lol

yep, they hold the calipers to the knuckles..

Now I am func_used and starving,
Are you rebuilding the calipers?? If you are looking for the 4 bolts that hold the caliper together
M10 x 1.25
head size 14mm
length including the head 80mm
They should work for LC or 4runner calipers.

No i'm just going to get the piston dustboot kit from CDan call it a day. I have everything else except pads already. I do have a set of the staggered piston FJ62 calipers though. I am doing Proffit's brackets and Montecarlo calipers in the rear, but it occurred to me I could do FJ62 calipers in the rear somehow and go all Teq. That would be super cute.

IMHO the teq calipers are way overkill for the rear...
