Calgary Cruiserheads with CB's?

Just wondering who in calgary has a CB and gets out to the trails, i'd like to get out and meet a few cruiserheads this summer, and i also need to get this CB antenna adjusted and setup if anyone knows a thing or two about that.

By the way, if anyone is interested I maybe doing some camping/ wheeling near sundre or Caroline if anyone can recomend some spots/trails.

moving to Calgary looking to wheel/camp

I am moving to Calgary from Houston, TX in August and should have my cruisers up there sometime in mid to late August. Also, looking for someone to wheel with up around Calgary. Don't really know anyone up there yet. Will look you up in when I get up there.

Radio Shack(cough.... Circuit city...) Should be able to sell you a SWF meter. When I was in the USA the radio shack I went to set me all up, even preformed the adjustments. But in Canada I highly doubt it.

Buy the little meter, or go to a proper radio shop and see if they can do it for you.

Does anyone use CB's in Canada? I could not even find an antenna in Smithers before going to Moab. Only showed up in the US.

I tend to find everyone is on VHF commercial channels in BC. Lad channels have lots of activity.

Give me a shout when you get into Calgary samuridave, I should hopefully have the bugs out in a few weeks and spend more time on the trails.
I will call a few radio shacks in calgary this week and see if i can find any meters, or go to the antenna place and see if i can get him to give me a hand.

I would like to mount the antenna on my roof rack, but im still trying to decide how to run the antenna cable through the body, any thoughts?

BB, I will be in smithers next weekend for a wedding, maybe ill get to see your body work and turbo youve done. Were flying up, but i should drive up the 3FE im pulling out this weekend and pawn it off on you for a spare for your 91 fj80.
