Also I'm doing leg quarters as my chicken source that promised thighs wouldn't be a problem was wrong. So if anyone wants to help break down leg quarters bring a knife of your choosing.

Not sure what time I'll be out there on Friday. It'll depend on an (ever more) independent 2yr old's bedtime routine. I'm making sauce tonight though, and will plan on being there Friday. May not be until 7:45-8 tho.

I'm going to make slaw tomorrow afternoon. Unfortunately the wife has to work tomorrow so it will be more of a drop off for me tomorrow night, maybe a beer or so ...

Plan on making it Saturday between ball games.

At a minimum we'll get four. We did eight last year but I brought two so six for Cahaba.

I had a blast. It was a lot of hard work but a ton of fun. For the record, I wish I could have donated a ten spot for every time I heard "This is the best pulled pork out here" from the people we were serving. Or the ever present "Man, this chicken is incredible."

I'm not going to lie, that six hurts. That means to me that judge thought the chicken was inedible.
