Ordered the parts and waiting ... need to pull the blower fan out as well.

Guys - thanks everyone for the help especially @cainventure parts fit exactly. There was some debris in the compartment but for 10 years old it was not that terrible. Took the blower motor off too and it had no debris either. Finally found some peace of mind
Awesome glad you did this! @MHLC2006 i have a 2006 and when i was baselining i went to change the cabin air filter and was like no way!!! no cabin air filter!
