I would shoot for ones that could change colors. Don't want to get pinned down on color selection. Where do you buy such lights? I hope the search for them does end up to be disconcerting.

Was thinking about giving RECON Lighting a call tomorow on them to see about a custom job, they seem to be a pretty prominent in the truck world.

Go big or go home, that's what Jack says. Make sure to document the lighting upgrade.

Ill make sure to, yall think wiring would be the same in some sense or would it be completely different going from a ford kit to toyotas electrical system, sounds dumb but just a thought.

Wires are wires. I would say go with the black lights so you can see through different types of clothing;)! Might be a cool pickup since you are 16 and all.:hhmm:

Nope selling my cruiser was a pipe dream to get somethin faster with better mileage, parents backed out on me last second so i couldnt do it, guessed theyd rather foot the 100$ a week to drive the thirsty bastard than me have a fast car haha. And that was my plan on the black lighting matched with my X-Ray goggles i think ill be in good shape :D

I would look into some underlighting too. I have seen a H2 with it and it made me think, "WOW, this guy is serious about being cool." It could help with bringing the cab light look together, as well. The wiring should be easy. Just search online.

Ok, I have 5 minutes for nothing. Clearance lights are going to present two issues. First, drilling into the roof and second, the wiring and power. Depending on how many you throw up there you're going to have that many new holes to seal and that many potential leaks.

Power is easy to come by up there, there's the sunroof and map lights. You'll have to pull the headliner down to access it. But, if you want to get fancy with the lights and have them come on with the running lights or be switched on their own, you're going to have to get more involved with running wires down the A-pillar.

That all sounds pretty easy. Shouldn't be too hard to wire to the park lights with an extra switch to change the colors.

Can't forget the color changing switch. Maybe mount that to steering wheel for ease of use.
