Well its finally come to that time. I just don't have the time to devote to this truck anymore and I'm at the point in my life where I can/should just buy a truck that is ready to go and continue from there instead of trying to build from scratch.

Most of you who have been on the 60 series section know of this beast very very well. Its all right here in black and white:

Its all there and its all honest. I have it at a shop right now and I have been vasilating between swapping in another used 2F and sell it running but I just don't have the time to deal with it. So I am selling it with NOT-running. It does need a motor as the one in there has seized. I realize there are a lot of pages to read through but if you have any specific questions feel free and I will post up here. A lot has been done to her and she has a bit of dust on her now but she still looks good. Especially if the truck was washed :p

Because I don't know what the hell to sell it at...and I've already had an offer from SPIKE STRIP for $500:flipoff2:, so I am going to start out at $4k obo. As I start remembering issues with it I will start posting them but at the moment I am drawing a blank.

I have a headgasket on the LX I have to deal with now so my headaches need to leave me.

BTW, money isn't an issue. I don't need the money but at the same time I don't want to give it away and would like to recoup some of my hard costs.

I prefer to blow.

:p

I meant like a tailpipe.

So are you still interested in selling? I am in Socal and have a tow vehicle. I just need to know your "serious" price for a rig that doesn't run. Also, do you have more photos and details? I will shoot you a PM so our discussions can be offline.

Thanks,

Aaron

Taking it off the market. The vultures are flying low around the carcass and now that I have a low mile 2F coming down from Georg after a top end rebuild, I think this truck is going to see new life.

So just got the call from Georg. It's coming down to the Valley on Saturday and getting dropped off at K&H. Gonna have to get Richard a case of cigars for coming in on a Saturday.

The engine for the LX is done on Friday so both engines can be installed during the following week or two. I'm out of the country come Friday but it looks like I will have two new vehicles to put around in when I get back :D
