Does anyone know how to go about registering a vehicle in anotherstate in order to avoid the ca smog. Iam a california resident and i want to register a vehicle that contains a different engine than stock in another state. is there anyone with any experience in this?

Get a P.O Box in Modoc County, Calif. Just take a drive up there on a week day. You could go to Bieber or Adin or any city for that matter. Find a vacant house and write down the address and use that address if they require a physical address. I have a friend who lived in Adin and moved out in 2000. He still has the PO Box and has all his cars registered there. Zip 96006
