thanks for the heads up. What was the total cost before Toyota helped out, if I may ask? I'll be diligent about doing that. thanks for the advice. since replacing the part, you've had no troubles?

No issues since replacement. I did a ton of other work at the same time, so I apologize, I don't recall how much it was. I'd have to pull records.

if you have the cost, that would be great. but, not a priority. I appreciate all your help. I looked at your post, 12 hours plus the part... that much have been steep! I'm guessing $125/hr plus the part. so about $2kish. ouch!
